Transfers

Deals move through stages and can be hijacked; you get deal timing, loan-backs, exchanges, instalments, bonuses and buy-back, first-refusal and sell-on clauses; squad roles go into contracts; a new 2D negotiation screen with a tension meter; a 20-hour Deadline Day. Dynamic OVR

Ratings now rise and fall with Form, Morale and Match Fitness, for AI clubs too. Training Plans are gone (except Energy Recovery), injuries are more frequent with Authentic gameplay, and light knocks can turn serious. Dynamic OVR explained goes through each part.

Player development

Six Growth Profiles shape how players develop and decline; players can have up to seven positions with no penalty in the secondary ones; coaches no longer train attributes but judge potential, with twelve coaches across goalkeeping, defence, midfield and attack; scouting shows every attribute at once and adds four report stages (tactical fit, future, financial assessment, status); a new Squad Rank predicts a player's impact in your squad.

Creator Challenges

Build your own Manager Live challenges in the new Creator Portal on a phone, tablet or computer: open My Challenges, scan the QR code, set objectives and restrictions, publish. You can have at least ten live, each with a cross-platform Share Code. The Manager Live Hub grows from 15 to 30 tabs with 20 challenges each, plus filters and upvotes.

Player Career

Rivalries against AI players in your role, with Personality Points as the prize, and CPU sliders split into teammates and opponents. FC 27 Player Career has the details.

Everything else

• Unexpected Events now include surprise injuries, points deductions for financial mismanagement (which can be halved or removed) and dressing-room conflicts.
• Press conferences are rarer but matter more: two answers, no right one.
• Practice Arena in Career: 11v11 against your reserves with your own tactics and sliders, plus scenarios and free kicks.
• Deeper Simulation covers up to ten leagues, up from five, with last season's performance included.
• Liga MX joins Manager and Player Career with its Apertura and Clausura format.
• Generated players no longer inherit retired players' data; a tutorial setting lets you show only this year's tutorials; Photofit avatars appear in Career.
