EA FC Pro Clubs Archetypes Compared: Every Ceiling, Side by Side
Every outfield archetype’s attribute ceiling in one grid, with the floor-to-ceiling range behind each number.
Darker means a higher ceiling. Defensive archetypes give up scoring, attacking archetypes give up defending, and the midfield hybrids pay a little of both:
Attribute ceilings by archetype
The highest rating each archetype can reach, averaged per category. Outfield only — keepers use a separate attribute set.

The ceiling is only half the story
Two archetypes can share a category score and still play nothing alike. Standing Tackle is the clearest case:
- Boss starts at 75 and caps at 99.
- Magician starts at 40 and caps at 80.
That's not a gap you close with skill points — a Magician cannot become a defender. Finishing reverses it exactly: Finisher and Magician both reach 99 while Boss stops at 82.
So read the grid as two questions at once. How high can this archetype go, and how much of the pitch does it give up to get there?
What the pattern tells you
The categories cluster tightly at the top — every ceiling in the grid sits between 81 and 99. That's deliberate on EA's part: no archetype is strictly worse than another, they're aimed at different jobs. The real spread is in the floors, which is why the range bars in each profile matter more than the headline number.
Category leaders, if you only want the summary: Pace Spark, Ball Control Maestro, Passing Creator, Scoring Finisher, Defending and Physical both Boss.
Frequently asked questions
Why are keepers not in the comparison?
Keepers use a separate attribute set built around diving, handling, reflexes, kicking and positioning. Scoring them on outfield categories would make them look uniformly weak, which would be misleading rather than informative.
Does a higher ceiling mean a better archetype?
No. Every archetype trades a high ceiling in one area for a low one elsewhere. What matters is whether its strengths match the role you actually play.
