FC 27 FUT Champions Qualification: Points, Rules and How to Qualify
How FUT Champions qualification works in FC 27, and the fastest ways to get there.
Updated — from EA's FC 27 launch update
To play FUT Champions in EA SPORTS FC 27 you need 1,000 Champions Qualification Points (CQP). The big change this year: the Division 6 requirement is gone. You can now earn CQP in both Division Rivals and Squad Battles, higher Rivals divisions earn it faster, and your Champions rewards give you CQP toward the next entry. Here is how it all works.
What changed for Champions qualification in FC 27
From EA's FC 27 launch update:
- No Division 6 requirement. Your Rivals division no longer decides whether you can qualify. Earn enough CQP and you are in.
- CQP from Rivals and Squad Battles. Squad Battles now award CQP too, so players who prefer playing against the AI have a route to Champions.
- Higher divisions earn CQP faster.
- Champions pays CQP back. Your Champions rewards include more qualification points toward your next entry.
- Finals keep 15 matches, with more FUT Coins in the rewards than in FC 26, and Champions Tokens return for a token store with red TOTW players, Evolutions and celebrations.
How many points you need, and when you play
Red Bull's FC 27 FUT Champions guide puts the entry at 1,000 CQP, redeemed to enter for the weekend. Champions opens on Friday at 8pm CEST and closes on Monday at 9am CEST, with up to 15 matches. Every Rivals match earns some CQP, and a win earns more than a loss.
EA has not published how many points each win is worth in each division, and the unofficial tables online disagree, so we do not print one here. Check the qualification bar in the Champions tile in game.
The fastest way to qualify
- Climb Rivals. Higher divisions earn CQP faster, so moving up shortens every week's qualification.
- Use Squad Battles if you prefer the AI: they count toward qualification now.
- Play your Champions matches. The rewards include CQP for the next weekend, so a good run makes the next entry quicker.
