Basic control · any pro, no skill stars needed

Giant Fake Shot is one of the 13 skill moves new to EA FC 27. It is a 1-star move, so any pro with 1 skill star or more can perform it.

Looking for the ordinary fake shot — Circle then Cross on PlayStation, B then A on Xbox? That one is a basic control, not a skill move: here it is on the basic controls page, animated. This page is the 1-star flair version.

What it does

A fake shot with a much larger body swing than the standard one — the full wind-up, then nothing.

When to use it

Standing still with a defender closing. The exaggerated motion sells harder than the normal fake shot, which is why it is a one-star move that still works against people who have seen a thousand fake shots.

Which builds it suits

Everyone. One star means every build in the game can do it from level one, which makes it the single best value move on this list.

Worth knowing

It only fires from a standstill. Coming out of a sprint you get the ordinary fake shot.

The rest of the new moves

The full list of new moves, with every input, is in every new skill move in FC 27 — and all FC 27 skill moves has the whole menu, every tier, animated.
